EXPERIENCE

Currently, I serve in a dual role as both a Professor at Farmingdale State College in New York, and a Freelance Design Consultant under the name OrdinaryDesign.co.

Over the past two decades, and at various academic institutions, I have specialized in developing curricula that integrate design thinking and visual communication in order to challenge students to innovate and apply creative problem-solving skills. My educational background includes advanced degrees in Graphic Design and Education, and I’ve presented research at multiple conferences exploring the intersection of design and pedagogy.

As a Freelance Design Consultant, I offer premium creative services including print design, graphic design, and web design. My work involves collaborating with clients to develop customized solutions that meet their unique needs. I ensure that every project is executed with excellence and creativity. Balancing these roles has been an incredible adventure. This combination allows me to bring real-world industry experience into the classroom and apply academic research to practical design solutions.
